Spent the last two days with this one. The decals where fun, I cut out the "No Step" ones from the tiger stripes in the original F-15E kit. I also used the horizitonal stablisers decals from an Dragon kit and the "US AIR FORCE" decal is also from an Dragon kit. All I have to do now is to print out the other decals and I am going to call her done, then onto the Sorcerer one. :)

Such a unique and striking looking bird. Paint scheme really is quite something, just makes it look so sci-fi.

ReplyDeleteShe does look sci-Fi-ish doesn't she?? Hard to believe that she's almost as old as I am!!! From the 1980's she was, I've seen one and only one picture of this aircraft in a Lizard One scheme and fully bombed up. Half tempted to make that one too. Masking was a complete bugger tho.
