Revell 1/144 MiG 1.44 MFi WiP : whatever

Just a little update on this one...

Thought I would try out a What-if Winter Digital Camo, Russian Style... well not too sure what markings I am going to put on it yet... Not even too sure if I like it or not.  Need to tidy it up a bit tho.

Gotta sort out that intake, but apart from that... I dont think she has come out too bad.

Let me know what you think.

   PEACE!

Hi-Nu Gundam.

I had some time today so I started to build the Hi-Nu Gundam for the 1/144 GB on Britmodeller.

The Hi-Nu with it's sister the Nu Gundam.  That my Gundam Fix Figueration model.  I've had that for a while now.  I will be doing the head for the Hi-Nu soon, I am going to paint it and weather it so it looks semi-decent. :)

The Nu-Gundam in HWS guise, altho I forgot to put the extra leg boosters on.. oh well...

WiP - 7 - CF-188A Hornet

Well I have done some more work on the CF-188A (CF-18A)... nearly finished, just gotta sort out the wash, which I just can not do... I think it's the varnish I am using.

For some reason, Humbrol varnishes do not work well with either Gunze or Vallejo paints, in my experience.  Dunno if I am doing something wrong or not... need to try another varnish next time.  If you look closely at the top view picture, you'll notice that the paint has been "washed" away.  I didn't notice until the decal had gone down.  Typically...

Was suggest to me, to try using Tamiya smoke in the wheel bays to give it some definition.  What do you guys think?  Not too sure if I like it, or if I have put too much in it?

The two Bugs all ready for their place on my shelf.  I do wanna sort out an airport apron for them to actually sit on.  Will look into that one. :)  These two models are on hold until I can figure out what I have to do with the wash to get it working.  :)

Completed - F-15 S/MTD ACTIVE

Here she is finally in all of her glory, finally got around to making the decals on the tail and the "badges" just on the air intake.  Overall I am impressed with her, got another two to build tho, one from Ace Combat and the other a What-if.  The canopy is detachable btw. :)

You can tell here, and see how bad my painting actually is, but the home made decals!!! :D

And the proper bird, altho this is the later 3D nozzles so the markings are kinda different.  You get the idea tho.

I've ordered some Flory Wash to try on these planes.  Until it arrives I will leave her clean.

Let me know what you think.

  PEACE!

WiP - 6 - CF-188A Hornet

Done a little bit of work on the CF-188A today as well, gotta pick out the small details and such, but I think she is pretty close to the decal stage!

Hopefully you can see the spray of Orange on the top of the engines.  Wasn't too sure if they would come out okay or not, but I think I have managed to get it done.

  Peace!

WiP - 4 : Revell 1/144 MiG 1.44 MFI

Done a little bit of work on her today, not happy with the paint.  So I'm going to strip it and re-do it.

No that I look at it, I need to fill in that gap for the intake... more filling fun!  Thinking of putting some wepons on this one... not sure how yet tho.

Peace!

Completed - Revell Micro-Wings 1/144 Hawker Tempest

Can't actually remember if I put this model up on here or not.  Anyhow, pictures below of my finished article.  I did rush this one to get it done.

Peace!

Completed Revell P-51B Mustang III x 2

Well here they both are, totally finished.  First ones of the year. :)

Despite the grey being too dark I dont think I have done too bad on these two. :)  Only really built them as a learning exercise.  Now to finish off the Fritzer, MiG 1.44, Hurricane IIc and F-19 Stealer oh and the CF-188A.

PEACE!

WiP - 3 : Academy 1/144 MiG-29

I just got bored of this one, so I have thrown a gloss coat on it and put the limited amount of decals on her.  I'm going to use this one as a test bed for some new techniques.  Once this one is done it is back onto the Fritzer, Hornet and MiG 1.44 :)

Not really much to look at, but she looks... alright..

  Peace!
